Marmaray Project, Signalization and Telecommunication Systems Construction Work

  • The installation of CBTC and ERTMS Level 1 Train Control System on the mixed traffic line (commuter + high speed line) between Gebze and Halkalı (Istanbul), which connects Asia and Europe via a railway tunnel under the Bosphorus, is carried out by Elsitel. The line spans 76 KM and comprises 42 stations, 4 depot areas, 1 OCC, and 1 BOCC. Elsitel has installed all trackside and indoor signalling equipment.
