Marmaray Project, Signalling and Telecommunication Systems Maintenance and Repair Works

  • Maintenance of signalling systems on Marmaray Project’s BC1  section  was  carried  out  by  Elsitel  between  2014-2020.  From early 2019 Elsitel have shouldered both Signalling and  Telecommunication  systems  on  Gebze-Halkalı  CR (commuter-rail) and IC (inter-city) lines.

  • The subsystems within this scope include:

  • Signalling Systems

  • CBTC, ERTMS/ETCS Level 1 Onboard and Wayside, Track Circuits, Point Machines, Wayside Signals, Interlocking

  • Telecommunication Systems

  • Fiber Optic Backbone, IP/MPLS Transmission, Public Address Announce, TETRA, GSM-R, Multi-functional Telecommunication, Access Control, PABX, Power Supply, UPS and Administrative LAN Systems
